This is why you're fat is one of the many tumblr sites I visit on a daily basis, and the more I think about it, the more I realize that all of these sites are Cabinets of Curiosities in a very real sense. They are specific yes, and not so tangible, but nevertheless they are a collection of oddities or curiosities designed to be shown to the entire world. What they are is really a public Cabinet, fueled by public findings and a group mentality.
